About The Wellspring Housing Program

Providing housing has been a part of services provided by Wellspring since its beginning in 1931. Today The Wellspring provides more housing for homeless persons in Northeast LA than any other provider, with 35% of the region’s stock of homeless housing (2011). We serve homeless individuals as well as homeless families with dependent children. In 2010, The Wellspring provided over 23,800 units of service to 1,532 homeless persons and fielded 5,202 crisis calls on our 24/7 crisis phone lines related to housing and homelessness.
