Rural Outreach Counselor- Winnsboro office: provides crisis intervention as well as short and long-term therapy and support to the victims of family violence in an effort to strengthen and value families in rural communities. Requires Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social work, knowledge of community resources and two years experience working with people. Part-time Donation Coordinator-responsible for accepting and sorting donations, arranging drop of dates and times for donations and escorting battered women and their children to the donation house.  The Donation Coordinator is responsible for working with area businesses in the community on developing relationships to receive new donated items for the agency donation house. Shelter Advocate-responsible for providing safe shelter for battered women and their children.  The shelter advocate works to empower battered and abused women and their children to make choices that result in safe, independent and violence-free lives.
